Inclusive Education & Hearing Impairment

Introduction

The Diploma in Special Needs Education (DSNE) is a two-year professional programme designed to equip educators with specialised knowledge and practical skills for supporting learners with diverse educational needs. The programme focuses on inclusive education and hearing impairment, preparing trainees to create supportive, accessible, and learner-centred educational environments.

Students are introduced to approaches for identifying and responding to individual learning needs, promoting participation, and supporting learners with disabilities and other barriers to effective learning.

Course Objectives

  • Develop practical skills for supporting learners with special educational needs.
  • Equip trainees with knowledge of inclusive teaching approaches and learning strategies.
